I’d cite Renuka Sugars as an example. They’ve never had any major protest to their factories. But yes, the government does need to step in and act as a mediator between citizens and corporates.

The solution for that is the Commercial Division of High Courts Bill that is currently pending in the Parliament. It contains all the desirable provisions to fast track the proceedings in high value commercial disputes. Unfortunately, when it was being debated in the Rajya Sabha, we heard the usual leftist rhetoric of why rich folks should be treated specially by the judiciary.
